ESTUDO SOBRE POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS E FUNÇÃO SOCIAL DOS CENTROS MUNICIPAIS DE EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL – CMEIs NO MUNICÍPIO DE SÃO LUÍS DE MONTES BELOS/GO

Abstract

Town Child Education Centers (CMEIs) have emerged as a new proposal for education for children, breaking with old practices of welfarism geared towards quality education. This is not to set aside the care and feeding inherent basic needs of a child, but a breakthrough that brings education into this institutional model. Tried to determine the aspects that involve early childhood education, such as teaching and learning, play, care hygiene, nutrition, safety, structure of schools, training of managers and teachers, parent involvement, participation of the government and society. It was observed that the best way to make a quality education is the participation of all. Involvement should not be solely on opinion, however, it should turn to actions that can really add to the procedures of teaching and learning in the city of São Luís de Montes Belos. It was found that migrate from the old system adopted for the care of children is no easy task, however, with the mission trained professionals will become possible. Professional training should be a beheld by all professionals involved item and is required for teachers, administrators and education secretaries. Training in higher level courses focused on education demonstrates progress in the way of execution of the work in these schools, facilitating the shift in thinking, breaking with the traditional model of daycare for a new educational method. In this sense, it is necessary to give effect to what determines the 1988 Federal Constitution, the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education, town regulations and other rules that make up the normative framework that illuminates childhood education in Brazil. Fostering a culture that allows parents to actively participate in the work, they know that their children are placed in a place of learning, without paternalistic character, beyond that, they are being prepared for the future with a quality education. Therefore, the town Education Department, managers of CMEIs and teachers need to create a network of communication with parents and society. Contact this that approximates the population of the School and practiced routines, demonstrating the need to seek solutions together. Infant Education makes forming partnerships and these should be consistent with the laws, rules and principles governing education, added local features and respect the personal peculiarities of learners. The methodology used for the elaboration of this thesis was to content analysis, using books, laws, standards, documents provided by the City secretariat of Education, the aggregate field research in seven CMEIs. It was concluded that still much work to do, but that the sum of values among all bring better results. Do not just change the name of the institution, it is necessary to change the form of teaching, which is: leave the welfare model. This is not a simple craft, but with professional training and targeted advertising, parent education and society, encouragement of the Government gaps are remedied approaching every day an educational model that addresses the real needs of students.
