LEIS AMBIENTAIS E A PROBLEMÁTICA DA APLICAÇÃO NO MUNICÍPIO DE SÃO LUÍS DE MONTES BELOS - GOIÁS

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the applicability of environmental laws in the city of São Luís de Montes Belos. This analysis includes aspects related to the history of the emergence of the municipality, the first environmental impacts occurring both in the rural and urban, in the soil, water and vegetation cover. Evaluates the urban growth without planning and with conflicts arising from deficient or no installation of basic infrastructure services such as water supply, sewage network and garbage collection. Contemplates the evolution of international and national environmental law. Contextualizes the National Environment Policy, the Federal Constitution of Brazil, the national environmental System, the status of the city and finally, the organic law and the Municipal master plan. Analyzes the major instances of violation of environmental laws and regulations and makes suggestions to guide to municipal authorities in the implementation and monitoring of the same.
