PLANEJAMENTO URBANO E POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS DE GESTÃO DOS RECURSOS HÍDRICOS: O CASO DO CÓRREGO ÁGUA FRIA EM ANÁPOLIS (GO)

Abstract

The research aimed to investigate the use, supply and occupation of the Água Fria Stream in the city of Anápolis (GO); and in a critical perspective, to analyze the public policies and discussions that have been carried out at the local and regional levels for the preservation of the stream. Field analyzes, historical, normative surveys and questionnaires were carried out with public and private agents directly linked to the maintenance / preservation of water resources in the city. From the perspective of the UN objectives for sustainable development, we analyze how the population and the government see the relevance of water resources and the importance of using it within the urban space with sustainability. As a product of the study, we brought a proposal for environmental education and analyzes that can support urgent public policies for public intervention in guaranteeing the sustainability and survival of this water resource.
