ANÁLISE DA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DA POLITICA DE INCENTIVO AO ALEITAMENTO MATERNO, ATRAVÉS DA INICIATIVA DO HOSPITAL AMIGO DA CRIANÇA

Abstract

The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative is a strategic axis created by the National Breastfeeding Policy in Brazil to improve the Com-Con indexes through planned hospital practices, with the purpose of contributing to the improvement of infant health and reduction of Mortality In this context, the present study aims to analyze the functioning and results of the implementation of the Initiative Child Friendly Hospital Initiative (IHAC), at the Maternal infant hospital of empress - (HRMI). The social context of malaise was analyzed for lack of breastfeeding, Of breastfeeding, to support the origin, structure and relevance of the National Breastfeeding Policy. The qualitative bibliographical, documentary and field methodology was used, based on questionnaires to the coordinators of teams that act directly with the policy investigated, attending to the area of high research. The hospital unit complexity, perform in half 600 deliveries per month, 24 hours a day, has a multi professional team, provides 82 obstetric beds and 60 ca National neonatal etiology and has 5 of the 6 strategic axes of the Po, justifying the interest of the Unit as Object of study. The results obtained from the application of the questionnaire, it was concluded that 50% of the IHAC policy steps are being respected by hospital, while 50% are not in conformity, the steps don't have attended the percentage minimum accepted by the Ministry of health were 2, 3, 5, 6 and 10, which shall be fixed so that maternity stays with the title baby friendly Hospital.
