| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O objetivo desta dissertação é analisar a situação social da população que foi desapropriada de suas terras para a construção da Usina Hidrelétrica de Luis Eduardo Magalhães no município de Lajeado no Estado do Tocantins. O estudo inclui uma análise do embasamento jurídico usado pelas concessionárias e seus mecanismos públicos de coerção para justificar a desapropriação. A metodologia utilizada foi a revisão bibliográfica e documental, bem como pesquisa de campo com pessoas chave conhecedoras do processo de desapropriação e de líderes comunitários que conhecem a condição social da população desapropriada. Como resultados esperam-se obter recomendações para melhorar o processo de desapropriação e as condições de vida da população. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to analyze the social situation of the population that was expropriated of their land for the construction of hydroelectric power plant Luis Eduardo Magalhães in Lajeado municipality in the State of Tocantins. The study includes an analysis of the legal basis used by public utilities and their mechanisms of coercion to justify the expropriation. The methodology used was the bibliographical and documentary review and key personnel with field research knowledgeable of the process of expropriation and community leaders who know the social status of expropriated population. The results are expected to obtain recommendations to improve the process of expropriation and the living conditions of the population. |
