IDENTIDADE, MEMÓRIA E AFETIVIDADE: um estudo de caso das migrações internas na formação do bairro Bacuri de Imperatriz–MA

Abstract

The identity of a people says a lot about your past, your present and your future, for that is of relevance to the study of their expressions, in order that through them it is also possible a change of reality. The present work has as main objective to investigate the relationship between the concepts of collective identity, memories and sense of belonging that the population of the neighborhood's place in Bacuri who lives in order to assess to what extent the strengthening of a collective identity can contribute to the social and cultural development of the neighborhood. Now research is descriptive in character, with explanatory as the Community procedure and the choice of the inductive method. The universe of search is a voluntary migrant who arrived to the neighborhood the Bacuri city of Imperatriz-MA in the period 1960 to 1980 and settled in the locality. Collection instruments were chosen: bibliographic survey; application of interview semi structure directed the nine key people in the neighborhood, as a form of indirect observation of the population; a closed questionnaire with themes obtained from the observation of the locality and items featured in the interview. The results observed indicate the existence of sense of belonging to the tenant in relation to the neighborhood, and such belonging be seen and explored as a mobilizer, booster and facilitator of actions aimed at better living conditions and social development and the preservation of the place.
