POTENCIALIDADES E DESAFIOS DA CADEIA PRODUTIVA DO MEL NA REGIÃO DO JALAPÃO, ESTADO DO TOCANTINS

Abstract

A Dissertation in progress aims to analyze the supply chain of honey In Jalapão region in the State of Tocantins, identifying the current situation the same with glimpses of the ideal situation, with the knowledge strategy of the positives and negatives as well as the threats and opportunities in order to provide information on which to base decision making regarding adjustments to the obstacles encountered and policy proposals that contribute to the strengthening of it. The development of the research was based on technical diagnostics performed by the subproject JALAMEL by a team. Once analyzed the entire contents of diagnosis, were produced graphs, tables, and statistics, which reflect the reality of the production process, a form of marketing, and relationship among members of the entire structure of the supply chain honey. Thus the set of information, enables support the development of public policies that allow the inclusion of honey production tocantinense in local, regional market as well as with the national scene and later collaborating with the volume of production for external markets.
