A EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR NAS UNIVERSIDADES FEDERAIS: O OLHAR DA REITORIA E DOS DISCENTES SOBRE O PLANO DE REESTRUTURAÇÃO NA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE GOIÁS

Abstract

This study promotes an investigation over public policy expansion of higher education and unveils his gaze about the Support Program Plans Restructuring and Expansion of Federal Universities – Reuni. The study evaluates the deployment this program in University Federal of Goiás The objective to demonstrate, make explicit and examine the state of change promoted by Program in UFG, for both were contemplated: the identity institutional, the management the University Federal de Goiás under the new features of education superior, arising, largely, of current policies for this level of teaching and of tensions and challenges contemporaries and the process of interiorization by it effected, in attendance to assumptions of Reuni. The guiding question of the study is: the ideals persecuted in deployment the Reuni in University Federal de Goiás were hit? Which mechanisms were used to the achievement of targets? The methodology consists in exploratory case study, investigative and bibliographic with approach qualitative. In the composition of corpus of the research, besides surveys in field, were made interviews with the rectory the university (Rector) and with the coordinator with the Directory of students (DCE). Search results contribute for understanding that the Reuni, despite of meet to a policy neoliberal, has promoted the reflection of the role of university and inserted many subject before excluded of educational processes, through programs to him bound and which cater to this public, fomenting debate around issues urgent that require university autonomy and decision-decisions linked to reality social and local.
