ACCOUNTABILITY E GOVERNANÇA CORPORATIVA: O CASO DOS TRIBUNAIS DE JUSTIÇA DO PODER JUDICIÁRIO BRASILEIRO

Abstract

Nowadays, with the advent of information technology and the ease of access to the Internet, society has demanded increasingly rapid solutions to its needs, with a view to raising awareness of its rights and duties guaranteed by the Constitution. In the scope of the Judiciary it is not different and for this reason the National Council of Justice determined that the courts deal with issues related to administrative and procedural transparency, and, especially, that important data be disseminated through Web portals. aimed at evaluating the degree of accountability of the Courts of Justice of the Brazilian Judiciary available to society based on the information provided in Web portals, identifying the ways in which this accountability is given and measuring the degree of accountability in each of the twenty and seven Courts of Justice of the Brazilian Judicial Branch. It was also sought to make a comparative of the degree of accountability among these tribunals surveyed. The applied methodology for the evolution of the work was an exploratory quali-quantitative research within the scope of the Brazilian Judiciary through the internet. In this research, a form was applied, whose content is based on the understanding that accountability arises from the union of three dimensions: Transparency, Participation and Interaction, and Provision of Accounts and Results. It was sought with the development of the present research, the evaluation of the degree of accountability in the Courts of Justice of the Brazilian Judicial Power. It was concluded that the category 'Participation and Interaction' was the one that most did not present all the requirements to deal with efficiency in the information made available on their websites in all regions of the country.
