GASTOS PÚBLICOS COM INVESTIMENTOS E COMPOSIÇÃO DE EMPREGOS NOS DIVERSOS SETORES DA ECONOMIA DO DISTRITO FEDERAL NO PERÍODO DE 1995 A 2010

Abstract

The public budget has in its composition the revenue and expenditure. From expend this side, there is a special emphasis on investments expenditure, since it has pegged its importance to the fact that its applicability reaches directly or indirectly to the largest contingent of the population that any other expenses. The study aims is to compare the public expenditure on investment by the Federal Government and the Federal District in the Federal District region with the evolution and composition of jobs in the period 1995 to 2010, which comprised the two governments of President Fernando Henrique Cardoso and the two government of President Luís Inácio Lula da Silva. As we seek to frame basis in Keynesian Theory, which highlights the need for government intervention through fiscal policy, to correct any distortion of the market, the Theory of Public Finance that deals with the stabilizing, allocative and distributive functions of Government. The data used are from official research, budget and financial system and employment system
